Eduardo Pizarro is a partner of SMPS Legal, a multidisciplinary and international law firm committed to adding value through the services provided, and to serve clients in different jurisdictions in a comprehensive manner.

Eduardo’s practice includes legal advice and business planning for local and multinational companies. His corporate practice has particular emphasis on the creation and structuring of corporations, spin-offs, mergers and acquisitions, as well as all types of transactions and investments with Mexican and foreign capital. 

Eduardo has over 25 years of experience representing clients in a wide variety of projects such as real estate transactions and investments, public and private mergers, purchase and sale of shares and assets, creation and structuring of companies, financings, joint ventures and strategic alliances, labor and social law, including individual and collective labor counseling. He also has experience in the coordination of civil and commercial litigation.

Eduardo’s main motivation is to be able to serve, help and be useful to his clients, helping them grow, and accompanying them in all their business processes. Eduardo provides a strategic approach in the development of his clients’ businesses, making a difference by providing solutions that impact the daily operations as well as the long-term clients’ objectives.

Eduardo Pizarro is a mentor at the Endeavor association, serving as a judge in the selection process, and a coach for entrepreneurs. He also offers pro-bono activities at Yibi, a civil association that helps Mixteco children.

Eduardo is a member of the Ilustre y Nacional Colegio de Abogados de México, A.C. and the Asociación Nacional de Abogados de Empresa, Colegio de Abogados, A.C. He is also a member of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, the American Chamber of Commerce and the Mexico-Colombia Chamber of Commerce in Mexico City. He is also the Special Projects Officer of the North American Regional Forum (“NARF”) of the International Bar Association (“IBA”).
