Montserrat Castañeda Arredondo

Montserrat has developed solid professional experience in tax litigation, with experience in defending taxpayers before tax authorities and courts in Mexico.

She is currently a member of Abogadas MX, where she has participated with the publication of an article entitled “La tasa 0% en los productos para la gestión menstrual” (“The 0% Tax Rate on Menstrual Management Products”).

Montserrat holds a Law degree from Universidad Panamericana (2023) and a specialization in Amparo Law from the same institution (2024).

Before joining SMPS Legal, she worked with the Federal Judiciary Council, supporting the Labor Reform Implementation Unit (2021). She also gained experience at the Law Firm of Universidad Panamericana (2020), where she advised on various pro bono matters.
