Mario has experience in various practice areas, excelling in the fields of corporate and tax law.

He began his career as a legal clerk in the Criminal Litigation department at “INTESTRA” S.A. de C.V., where he served as an intern dealing with court follow-ups, drafting criminal complaints and requests to Mexican authorities, as well as reviewing relevant case law and filing documents before various judicial authorities.

Later, he expanded his career to Corporate and Tax Law at “IBÁÑEZ, FERNÁNDEZ DEL CASTILLO, MALAGÓN”, S.C. (IFCM). In the Corporate Law department, he participated in drafting corporate documents, administrative procedures, corporate audits, restructurings, and registering companies in National Registry. Simultaneously, he performed in the Department of Tax Advisory and Litigation, gaining experience in monitoring tax administrative procedures and drafting legal appeals and memos for clients on tax matters. Mario also handled reviewing tax case law and filing documents before tax authorities and the corresponding courts.

In his current role, Mario belongs to the Corporate M&A team, specializing in drafting contracts and agreements, such as M&A transactions, and foreign investment, as well as drafting and negotiating contracts related to the sale of shares and assets, establishment and termination of trusts, and finance operations.

Mario is currently studying his last year in Law bachelor’s degree at the Universidad Panamericana (UP). Therefore, his previous trajectory has allowed him to develop a solid foundation in different aspects of law, providing comprehensive and high-quality service to his clients.
