SMPS advised Fortem Capital on a MXN 800 million debt refinancing transaction.

MEXICO CITY, MEXICO, October 31^st, 2025 – SMPS advised Fortem Capital on a debt refinancing transaction through the execution of an MXN 800 million credit facility with Bancrea. The proceeds of the loan were used to refinance existing debt related to a real estate development located in the State of Mexico. SMPS participated in the negotiation of the loan agreement, as well as in the restructuring of various security, administration, and payment-source trusts established to secure Fortem’s payment obligations in favor of Bancrea.
