SMPS Legal advised Inversiones del Caribe on the sale of properties in Cozumel for Royal Caribbean’s new Royal Beach Club
MEXICO CITY, MEXICO, September 28th, 2025 – MPS Legal acted as legal counsel to Inversiones del Caribe, S.A. in the sale of three prime real estate properties located in Cozumel, Quintana Roo, to a Mexican entity owned by Royal Caribbean.
The transaction enables the development of Royal Beach Club Cozumel, scheduled to open in 2026 as the second property in Royal Caribbean’s exclusive beach club collection. The project will feature a wide range of experiences, from private cabanas and pools for families to adventure activities such as snorkeling, kayaking, and cooking classes inspired by Mexican flavors, according to a Royal Caribbean press release (https://royalbeachclubmexico.com/).
